Wine description

Pigato is another way of calling Vermentino in Liguria. Cascina Feipu dei Massaretti has been farming since 1965. Vinification for Pigato takes place with both cryomaceration and soft pressing, followed by separation of the must from the skins and temperature-controlled fermentation. Brief bottle aging.

Wine characteristics

Ideal accompaniment with fish appetizers, minestrone alla Genovese, pasta with pesto, stuffed vegetables, Ligurian-style sea bass.
